Meet your local chauffeur-guide and commence your scenic drive up into the central highlands toward Nuwara Eliya, often called “Little England.” En route, visit the Pinnawala Elephant Orphanage to witness gentle giants bathing in the river. Following a tropical breakfast, set out to explore the vibrant coastal ecology. Later, visit the Kosgoda Turtle Hatchery to learn about the conservation of endangered sea turtles and see baby turtles taking their first steps.
